Train
The Tyseley area is around five miles south of the city centre. It's easy to get to Tyseley station by taking the train from Moor Street Station which is at Moor Street, Holloway Circus, Birmingham, B4 7UL.
The quickest route to the venue if you are arriving at New Street train station, is about a 7-minute walk onto Moor Street Station. From Moor Street, take the train on Platform 1 and it is a 6-minute journey. When you arrive at Tyseley leave the station and head southeast towards Wharfedale Road. Turn left onto Wharfedale Road, and left again onto Kings Road. Fairgate House will be on the left, and the whole journey from New Street should take around twenty minutes.
Parking
Fairgate House has a secure car park for drivers located at the rear of the building. If you are heading to the city centre, there are plenty of car parks you can use.

The venue is 3.5 miles from Moor Street Station so it is recommended to get a train from the central area, or drive to Kings Road, but walking around Birmingham itself is considered a walkers paradise with a rated score of 90/100.

Situated close to the venue is a great budget-friendly hotel at Travelodge Birmingham Yardley, or a little further away, you can check into Travelodge Birmingham Sheldon. Food
There's no need to travel into Birmingham city centre for lunch as there are several cafes close to Fairgate House. Vic's Cafe is a down-to-earth cafe right next to the venue. They open early in the morning, so if you want to grab breakfast or a bap before the course begins, you can set yourself up for the day at affordable prices.
You can also try out the Cousins Café. They don't open until 10 am, but they are an excellent option for lunch, and close to the station for convenience. You can grab great value classics such as sausage and mash, scampi and chips and soup of the day. There is also a great selection of sandwiches, toasties and filled Jacket Potatoes. For dessert, grab a brownie sundae, ice cream sundae or pancakes. Tyseley Corner Cafe, which is just off Wharfedale Road, and is also popular with the locals. It's clean and friendly, and locals flock to this eaterie for great value breakfasts, wraps, and tasty curries. Imex Cafe - Tyseley, which is further north up on King's Road from the venue, and they offer a range of lunchtime specials, including juicy burgers, fish and chips, and great value breakfasts.
