Getting To Your CCTV Training Course In Leeds

The location for CCTV training in Leeds is the Britannia Leeds Bradford Airport Hotel, Leeds Road, Bramhope, Leeds LS16 9JJ.

Train

You can get to the venue by taking a train with frequent services running.

The closest train stations to the venue are:

Horsforth Train Station

Horsforth, Leeds, LS16 7BT

Weeton Train Station

Huby, Leeds, LS17 0EQ

Both these local train stations can be accessed from the central station in Leeds:

Leeds Train Station. New Station St, Leeds LS1 4DY

From Horsforth train station, grab an 8-minute taxi ride or jump on the bus, which will take you around 20 minutes. It’s a 6-minute walk from the station to Woodhill Gardens, where you’ll need to catch the 940 Bus service to Otley. After 9 stops, taking approximately 8 mins, get off at Bramhope Chapel Hill and walk the final 4 minutes to the venue.

From Weeton train station, it’s about a 10-minute taxi ride. Using public transport will take you around 20 minutes. Walk approximately 3 minutes to the bus station and catch the A3 flyer service to Bradford city centre. After 10 stops taking about 8 minutes, get off and from the Dyneley Arms, and catch the X84 to Leeds city centre. Get off after 2 stops which will take about 3 minutes. From there, it’s a 2-minute walk to the venue.

Parking

Britannia Leeds Bradford Airport Hotel does offer parking which is priced at £5 per day. There is also a public car park close by at 5 Old Ln, Bramhope, Leeds LS16 9EG.

Walkability

The venue does not have a great walk score coming in at 33/100. There is a nearby deli, and the other nearest shops are about half a mile away. You might want to buddy up with a driver or bring a packed lunch. Bramhope is a pleasant village, and if you want to stretch your legs, simply take a stroll around and take in the beautiful Yorkshire scenery.

Accommodation

If you are staying over for your three-day course, you could stay at the venue itself. With it being a 3-star hotel, it’s not the cheapest hotel. However, the surrounding area has very few budget options, so this is likely to be the most affordable option locally. The Britannia Hotel serves breakfast, has a lounge bar open all day, and a restaurant serving dinner. There is also a gym, a heated indoor swimming pool and a spa which is a small additional cost.

Food

It’s not the best location for a wide selection of cafes and restaurants, but literally, you’ll find The Bramhope Deli a few metres from the venue situated on Tredgold Avenue. This charming little shop and cafe is a foodie haven. They bake their own fresh bread daily and serve delicious sandwiches, paninis, and pastries. You simply have to try their homemade scotch eggs with a runny centre, and their blondies and brownies are to die for. You can also try out their artisan coffee and take your food outside to enjoy an al fresco experience in the summer months. You can also take home cheeses, olives, antipasti and chutneys.
