Holborn is a district in central London, which covers the southeastern part of the London Borough of Camden and a part of the ward of Farringdon. By Train

Holborn is the nearest tube station to the venue, a one-minute walk from the venue, down Southampton Place to High Holburn high street.

If you are coming into London on the overland train get to Euston Station and it is an accessible walk to the venue from there. Holburn tube station is serviced by the Central and the Piccadilly lines, so however you are getting into London from outside you will be able to make your way there.

The Birmingham train takes one hour and twenty minutes on the Avanti West Coast service into Euston, if you want to continue by train there you change for the Northern Line tube to Tottenham Court Road, and from there it is a short walk to the venue.

By Taxi

If you choose to use taxis in London Taxi Russell Square is the best in the area. London Minibus Hire are also highly rated, and very professional, and it is said the vehicles are spotlessly clean.

If you are coming in from a flight try Bowes Park Airport Transfer Taxi, they are considered reliable and top-class.

By Bus

Holborn is served by bus routes 1, 8, 19, 25, 38, 55, 59, 68, 76, 91, 98, 133, 168, 171, 188, 243, 341, and several night buses. Quite a few of these get you right to the venue area, check on the TFL site for all public transport information.

By Road

Driving from the north you want to be coming into London from the A10, then take Old Street/A5201 and A1 to Long Lane, follow down to Charterhouse Street, then to Holborn/A40 in Farringdon. Finally, get on the A40 to Bloomsbury Square, where your final destination lies.

 

Parking

There are lots of options for parking in the area, the obvious option might be prebooking with the venue itself, they are open 24 hours and have the best in security.

NCP London Bloomsbury Square Car Park is right next to the venue, although has mixed reviews.NCP is not far away and has better reviews, do expect London prices though. It might be in your interest to prebook with the JustPark app as they are supported by Trustpilot and have suggestions for parking in any area.

 

Walkability

With a Walk Score of 100/100 proving the fact that, unlike some cities, London is totally walkable.

Nearby is The Brunswick Centre which is a shopping mall, and has an arthouse cinema inside. You can grab a coffee or a snack while there., it is a charming place just to sit and watch the city from.

From your training venue, you will be able to have a stroll and in the immediate area you will find many small gardens, and conveniently Regents Park is minutes away.

 

Accommodation

London doesn’t have to break the bank, if you are on a budget try Generator London at Kings Cross which is £44 per night for a comfortable hostel room, and £13 for a dorm bed. They have bike hire, laundry facilities, and luggage storage.

Astor Museum Hostel at £68 a night is a simple place with the use of the kitchen area, and is right around the corner from your course location.

Smart Russell Square Hostel is £46 for a bed in a clean dormitory room.

 

Food

After a hard day and satisfying day of training, you’ll need some grub, why not go for a fast food option with some class The Bumble Bees excellently priced and tasty food.

If you would like some real Italian Amarcord Italian Restaurant is the place to go.

Also, in the area you will find all the usual chains such as KFC, McDonald’s, Burger King, and coffee shops galore.

Or how about some Greek recipes Paneri Taverna will sort you out on that score. They serve a variety of mouth-watering family dishes including Souvla, Sheftalia, and the mezze platter.
