A scaffolder constructs temporary structures used to support workers and materials during construction, maintenance or repair work. They are responsible for setting up and dismantling scaffolds whilst making sure they are stable and safe for workers to use. Scaffolders must be able to read blueprints, use a range of both hand and power tools, and of course, have a strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Working as a scaffolder, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction projects.
