Getting to your training venue in Crawley

Train
The venue in Crawley is accessible from three local stations nearby. Any of these stations are very close to the venue.

Crawley Train Station
Station Way, Crawley RH10 1JA, United Kingdom

Ifield Train Station
Ifield Dr, Crawley RH11 0JP, United Kingdom

Three Bridges Train Station
Three Bridges, Crawley RH10 1LY, United Kingdom

From Crawley train station, walk around 300 yards to the bus station. Catch the number 4 bus to Gatwick Airport from platform G. Get off the bus after 5 stops which takes about 6 minutes. The venue, the Crowne Plaza International Hotel, is around 80 yards or a 1-minute walk from here. Alternatively, jump in a taxi which will take just 6 minutes and is just over a mile away.

The venue is also just 1.8 miles and a 7-minute taxi drive from the Ifield train station. It’s also the same distance, just 1.8 miles from Three Bridges, if you are coming in that direction.

Parking
The Crowne Plaza hotel does offer parking. However, you do need to pay a fee of £10 per day. On entering the hotel, you need to give your car registration details at the reception desk and pay for your parking. Don’t try to get around this! All cars are photographed on entering the hotel, and you will receive a fine if you haven’t paid.

Alternatively, there are some car parks a few minutes drive from the venue located at:

Auto Car Park
114 London Rd, Crawley RH10 8JH

Sky Lane Car Park
8c Kelvin House, Kelvin Way, Crawley RH10 9WE

Compare Parking Deals
44 St Joan Cl, Crawley RH11 7SW

Walkability
The venue has a walk score of 58/100. That means you can get out and about to local places without the need for a car. However, you might need a car to get to some facilities.

Accommodation
If you choose to stay over for the course, then London prices are not the cheapest going. The hotel serves Gatwick airport once again, meaning it’s not the best value option. The Crowne Plaza is a 4-star hotel with a spa and wellness centre, restaurant and bar.

But you can find cheaper options just north of Ifield. The Trivelles Waterhall, The Little Foxes, and The Da Vinci Gatwick Bed & Breakfast are all excellent value options. The Da Vinci even serves a complimentary breakfast.

Food
While you can grab lunch at the venue, you can find some inexpensive places to eat nearby. The venue is very close to a local Sainsbury’s supermarket where there’s always a sandwich deal going for lunch. The supermarket also has a cafe where you can get a hot lunch.

Head a little further than Sainsbury’s in the same direction, and you’ll get to the Pop Inn Cafe located before you get to Crawley hospital. There you can look forward to massive portions, including great breakfasts, delicious desserts and wicked milkshakes.

If you head north from the venue towards the airport for approximately 4 minutes in the car, you will get to the Wild Bean Cafe. Head south to Crawley town centre, and there are plenty of cafes to try out. There’s the Furnace Green Cafe at Furnace Parade, Cafe Giardino at 30 County Mall, Revive at 38 The Broadway, and the Allday Cafe2 at 13 Broadwalk. All the cafes serve classic English breakfasts and sandwiches. Revive is a Christian cafe and charity shop, so be warned if you’re not Christian, as there is quite an evangelical edge to it.
