How to get to your training venue at Glasgow

Train
If trains are your preferred option for getting to your training session at the Normandy Hotel in Glasgow, then there are several options available. Depending on where you will be staying during your training, some of the train stations that will get you close to the venue include:

Singer Train Station
Kilbowie Rd, Clydebank G81 2JN, United Kingdom

Garscadden Train Station
Glasgow G13 3AF, United Kingdom

Paisley Gilmour Street Train Station
Paisley PA1 1BS, United Kingdom

Of the options above, we recommend you use the Paisley Gilmour Street Train station. From there, you can use a Line 22 bus which costs about £2 - £4 and will take you slightly over 20 minutes to get to the Normandy Hotel. Alternatively, picking a taxi from the station reduces the commute drastically, though you'll need to pay a cab fare of at least £12 - £16. Cost aside, a taxi ride will only take you 11 minutes to cover the 3 miles necessary to get to your training venue.

Parking
The training's venue, Normandy Hotel, offers affordable parking for those passing through. Should you choose to stay there, then you'll even get free parking for the entire duration of your training.

If you want to travel to nearby Paisley at lunchtime, you will come across several parking options in the vicinity. Some of them include:

Piazza Car Park
Gilmour Street, Paisley PA3 2AP.

Orchard Street Car Park
14 Orchard St, Paisley PA1 1UZ.

Glasgow Airport Long Stay Parking
Arran Ave, Paisley PA3 2AY.

Walkability
Unfortunately, Inchinnan Road has a Walk score of 30/100. You would have an easier time getting to different points in the area using a vehicle rather than walking around.

Accommodation
In case you don't live close to the training venue, don't worry. You can choose to stay at the Normandy Hotel, which is where the training will be held. There are also plenty of other accommodation options that would have you nearby, depending on what you need to make your stay comfortable. Some options include the Travelodge Glasgow Braehead hotel at 150 King's Inch Rd, Renfrew PA4 8ZL, or the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport hotel in Paisley PA3 2TE. Food
Inchinnan Road offers several great options where food is concerned, whether you'd like a course meal or a quick snack. Both local and international cuisine is available here, depending on what you're in the mood for. Dine in or grab takeout varieties like burgers, fries, and spicy chicken at fast-food restaurants like Burger King, KFC and McDonald's, which are less than 2 miles from your training venue.

Besides those, you can also choose to enjoy a Chinese meal at Dragon Express 19 Inchinnan Rd, Renfrew PA4 8LS, United Kingdom. Some of the meal options available include Szechuan dishes like roast duck and roast pork, as well as appetizer varieties like Nanami spicy spare ribs or even a mixed starter.
