Getting to your training venue in Manchester

Train
Manchester has some of the best transport links of any city in the UK. It is well connected by train stations, and several tram stops that can get you from one side of the city to the next and with links from nearby areas including Salford, Didsbury, West Didsbury, Old Trafford, Sale, Stockport and Ashton-under-Lyne.

Depending on where you are travelling from, you can arrive close to either of the following train stations and then grab a tram or walk onto the venue.

Manchester Victoria Train Station
Victoria Station Approach, Manchester M3 1WY, United Kingdom

Manchester Piccadilly Train Station
Piccadilly Station Approach, Manchester M60 7RA, United Kingdom

Manchester Victoria will get you within just half a mile of the venue, which is a short 10-minute walk. From the station, turn right and head onto the ring road New Bridge Street. After 100 metres, turn right onto Cheetham Hill Road for 0.3 miles. Then turn right onto Riga Street, then left onto Mayes Street after 80 metres.

From Manchester Piccadilly, walk 200 metres onto Manchester Piccadilly tram station. Then take a tram on the yellow line headed for Bury for 7 minutes. Get off at the Shudehill stop, and the venue is just 100 metres away.

Parking
With such excellent transport links, it might be best to leave your car at home. The venue does offer parking, but it comes at a hefty price of around £20 per day. Similarly, you'll find available car parks in Manchester city centre, but they are expensive. Car parks close to the venue include:

Manchester Arndale Car park
High St, Manchester M4 1AZ.

NCP Car Park Manchester Goulden Street
Goulden St, Manchester M4 5FR.

Accommodation
You can stay at the venue, the Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre. However, this 4-star hotel equipped with a restaurant and gym is not the cheapest option. If you're staying over for the course, then there are tons of more affordable nearby options. The Travelodge in Manchester Ancoats is a great close-by option.

Other great value places to stay include the Holiday Inn, the easyHotel, the Britannia Hotel and the hotel ibis Styles at Manchester Portland. Check out deals here.

Food
There are loads of places to eat within easy reach of the venue. The nearest stop 1 minute away is Cafe North serving classic English breakfast, snacks, tea and coffee. Being in the city centre's heart, you can grab all the traditional fast-food restaurants such as Burger King, McDonald's, and KFC.

There are also several nearby cafes, so you'll be spoilt for choice, and all at down-to-earth prices with an urban vibe. They include 19 cafe Bar, Chai Latte, Federal Cafe Bar, Rowntree's Cafe Bar and The Koffee Pot.
