SIA training courses are designed to be accessible to all participants, and the curriculum for each course is fairly straightforward. It usually includes a mix of theoretical learning and practical exercises. With proper preparation and focus, most candidates successfully complete their selected SIA training course. Get Licensed boasts an impressive pass rate of 95%, making it easier and stress-free for students to ace their training courses.

Depending on the course you’ve opted for, you will be covering practical training, such as physical intervention techniques and hands-on scenarios for conflict management and safety protocols in your SIA training syllabus.
For instance, our CCTV course has practical assessments covering radio communication, report writing, and the use of CCTV equipment. The door supervisor training course includes practical assessments covering search techniques, physical intervention, incident response, conflict management, and emergency procedures. The practical assessments for our close protection training include route planning, foot formations, vehicle tactics, surveillance detection, and incident management

SIA licences include Door Supervisor, CCTV Operator, Security Guard, and Close Protection, tailored to different security roles and responsibilities.

The refresher course syllabus covers two modules on Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry (Refresher) and Physical Intervention, each of which has separate exams. Similarly, the refresher course for security guard training has one module on Principles of Working as a Security Officer in the Private Security Industry (Refresher), followed by an exam.

While both courses cover two common modules on conflict management and working in the private security industry, the main difference lies in the modules covering the specific aspects of each role.
The door supervisor syllabus has a module on Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry, whereas the security guard training syllabus has a module on Principles of Working as a Security Officer in the Private Security Industry. Additionally, the door supervisor syllabus also has a module on Physical Intervention in the Private Security Industry.
